Ashley Cheyemi McNeil

Program Manager / Multi-Ethnic Literature

Ashley Cheyemi is is a bi-national PhD candidate in multi-ethnic American literature at Georgia State University and in American Studies at Johannes Gutenberg University in Germany. Her research employs new humanist theoretical frames to focus on narratives of interraciality and Asian American subjectivities. She is a project manager for Atlanta-focused inter-institutional collaborations and is particularly invested in leveraging digital platforms to connect local communities to students’ higher ed tenures. Outside of school, Ashley Cheyemi enjoys actually being outdoors with her trailblazing street dog, Maggie.
