Sophia Queen

Graduate Fellow / History

Sophia Queen (class of 2018) is earning a Masters degree in Heritage Preservation with a focus in Public History at Georgia State University. Before becoming an Innovation Fellow, she created a small exhibit for Emory’s Rose Library, and helped to create the basis for an archive of student work created through the MHP program. She is currently working on her capstone project creating a collection of oral histories that will create a digital memory-scape of Fannin County, Georgia. When she is not processing data for Omeka sites, she enjoys hiking, finding and exploring neglected historic properties, knitting, and reading.
