Tanner Barr

Undergraduate Fellow / Geosciences

Tanner Barr (class of 2018) is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Geosciences, concentrating in Urban Studies and minoring in African American Studies. As a GIS specialist, Tanner applies his spatial analyst skills to various projects with the SIF program. Tanner also works in the Department of Geosciences as a student researcher. As an Atlanta transplant, Tanner actively serves his community by volunteering with non-profit organizations and attending public planning meetings. Whenever Tanner is not designing an equitable Atlanta, he enjoys cartography, photography, music, and traveling.
